This is a value add to DTSJ. There are a lot of unhealthy eating options nearby so I'm glad they stuck a Açaí Bowl and fruit smoothies type of joint here.
The prices are decent and affordable. It's centralized in DTSJ so it's easy to get to if you live or work in the area. This place has to be a SJSU favorite because it's just half a block over.
I have had their Açaí bowl and a couple of their smoothies -- delicious and no complaints.
Stop by for a healthier, more affordable snack. Your body will thank you for it! -

Place sucks. They're so slow at making the bowls and it makes me not wanna come here. If I knew that they were extremely slow I wouldn't have come. I was so hungry tho and it seemed like a great option
The 2 girls here working rn sucks at customer service too. No smiles and they just need to up their speed working! A lot of people have been ordering bowls too. I just don't get it. -

Been waiting 40 minutes for a panini now. Started with an egg sandwich but they couldn't figure out how to work the egg machine so now I've been waiting ~15 minutes for a veggie sandwich which seems more and more dubious as time passes....
Update: finally got a sandwich. It was warm but pretty basic. I asked for extra cheese and they still only put one slice. Also the bathroom has no paper towels and pee on the seat. -

Power Bowl is located just a block away from SJSU. Came on a Sunday afternoon and there weren't that many people there! My boyfriend and I decided to share a 16 oz açaí bowl with peanut butter blended in and bananas.
It was pretty cheap for an açaí bowl-- we only paid around $7-$8 total. However, taste wise it just tasted a bit sour and didn't really have much of a flavor. You could kind of taste the peanut butter but it also wasn't blended in very well.
Like yelp's 2 star rating, meh, I've gotten better açaí bowls. Probably wouldn't come back. -

The owners and managers here actually care about their business. It's just a shame that employees tarnish the business with their lack of customer service.
I was invited to give Power Bowl another shot by the managers. I was warmly welcomed by Yesenia and she made me a super yummy acai bowl! Happy to see businesses taking feedback from customers to improve their business and customer service! Having a great customer experience not only puts a smile on your face but it also just makes your meal a lot more enjoyable!
Power bowl is conveniently located near SJSU & has both the regular acai blend as well as the dragonfruit blend. They also have a wide variety of toppings and fruits. The portions are also very generous as I had granola and fruits covering the whole circumference of my bowl.
Now if I am ever craving an acai bowl, I know where to go!
